Free Agent is a local desktop AI agent for Windows. This page is the support contact for the Microsoft Store listing.

Please include your Windows version, the app version (shown in the app), and a short description of the problem. Replies usually take a few days. This is a one-person project.

Getting started

Install the app from the Microsoft Store.
On first launch, choose a working folder when prompted. The app unpacks its files there and sets itself up.
The app runs locally. It does not require an account with us.

Common questions

The first launch takes a while

The app unpacks a large payload on first run and prepares local components. This is expected. Later launches are faster.

Does it need an API key?

No. It is designed to work with the AI services you already use. Optional external APIs can be configured if you want them, but they are not required.

Where is my data stored?

Locally on your machine. See the privacy policy for the details.

How do I uninstall it?

Uninstall it like any Microsoft Store app, from Settings or the Start menu. Your local data files may remain; delete the app's working folder if you want them removed.

The app ships with a built-in user guide. It can be opened from inside the app. A general overview is available on the main site.

Reporting a problem

Email [email protected] with a description. If the app shows an error message, include the text of the error. Do not send passwords or API keys.
